Wednesday morning, over twenty people showed up at the entrance to the induction base for drafted soldiers in Tel HaShomer, to support Maya Yechieli-Wind and Raz Bar David-Veron. The two young Israeli COs, signees of the "Shministim" Seniors Letter, were accompanied by activists banging drums and holding banners in support of those refusing to join the army - particularly in these times, as Israel's military engages in massive war crimes against Gaza's civilians.

Saturday evening, activists joined Palestinian and Israeli residents of Jaffa in a silent march to mourn those murdered by Israel in Gaza during the past two weeks. Dressed predominantly in black, people walked silently along the dark streets - at first a few dozens, then numbers gradually swelled as more and more onlookers spontaneously joined in. The march ended in a small park with about a hundred mourners - some with lit candles, others holding burning torches, and several people displaying photographs of dead Gazan children.
