As winter winds blow stronger, and as construction of The Wall resumes around the village of Ma'asara - activists continue with the struggle using creative protest.

Two of this week's demonstrations commemorated those killed by the Israeli Army in the course of the popular struggle. On Sunday - nine Israeli activists were arrested while stopping construction work of the wall in Walaje.

Mustafa Tamimi of Nabi Saleh died in Beilinson Hospital. There’s no debate over the cause of death: Tamimi was shot in the head at close range during the weekly demonstration in his village, on international human rights' day - 9.12. The weapon: a high force, long range tear gas canister. According to a number of witnesses, backed up by photographs, the canister was fired point-blank, in total contravention of army regulations, from a distance of less than ten meters. The shooter: an Israeli soldier, from a Jeep.

The weekly  peaceful demonstration in Beit-Ummar set off as almost every week in the last  few weeks outside the village on the walkway up to the agriculture zone near the settlement Carmei-Zur.In the march took part approx 15 Palestinians,

The people of Biddu demonstrated against the army's prevention of farmers access to the land. The demonstration was joined by Israelis and internationals. This demonstration is one is a series of demonstrations started after the last Gaza war when the army toughened its policy and created further bureaucratic hurdles preventing farmers from accessing their lands.
